چکیده

Glucosinolates (GSLs) are not only a unique flavor substance from leaf B. juncea but also major secondary metabolite produced in response to abiotic stresses. Cold stress is one of the most common stresses juncea; however, metabolic pattern GSLs under cold has yet been reported. In present study, we analyzed content and found that it increased subsequently decreased. According RNA-seq data, genes related synthesis aliphatic were significantly upregulated following 24 h stress; indole 48 BjBGLU25 BjBGLU27 upregulated. Further analysis correlation between transcription factors revealed MYB, ERF, IQD, bHLH may be involved regulating stress. particular, an unreported factor, BjMYBS3 (BjuVA05G33250), was play possible role GSLs. And external application ability cope with

Auxin response in Arabidopsis under cold stress: underlying molecular mechanisms.

To understand the mechanistic basis of cold temperature stress and the role of the auxin response, we characterized root growth and gravity response of Arabidopsis thaliana after cold stress, finding that 8 to 12 h at 4 degrees C inhibited root growth and gravity response by approximately 50%. The auxin-signaling mutants axr1 and tir1, which show a reduced gravity response, responded to cold tr...

Effect of cadaverine on Brassica juncea (L.) under multiple stress.

The cadaverine (Cad), an organic diamine was examined for its response on growth in salinity and metal stressed B. juncea cv RH-30 vis-à-vis compared the response of ammonium nitrate. The Cad (1 mM) application ameliorated the effect caused by salinity and metal stress on seed germination and plant growth. The plant growth recovery (dry biomass accumulation) was dependent on stress and diamine ...

Growth response modulation by putrescine in Indian mustard Brassica juncea L. under multiple stress.

Plants, in general, are put to various kinds of stress, biotic and abiotic, both natural and manmade. Infestation by insect pests and diseases, and extreme conditions such as salinity, temperature, etc., as well as heavy metal contamination affect their growth performance. Here, we studied the impact of salinity and heavy metal pollution on the growth performance of Indian Mustard Brassica junc...

Modulation of jasmonic acid and polyamines by 24-epibrassinolide in Brassica juncea L. under copper stress

It has been widely reported in literature that brassinosteroids play a pivotal role in stress mitigation in plants. The present study was undertaken to assess the effect of 24-epibrasssinolide (24-EpiBR) on the growth, endogenous levels of total sugars, reducing sugars and plant growth regulators (PGRs) such as jasmonic acid and polyamines (PAs) like spermine, spermidine, putrescine and cadaver...

Transcriptomics profiling of Indian mustard (Brassica juncea) under arsenate stress identifies key candidate genes and regulatory pathways

Arsenic (As) is a non-essential element, a groundwater pollutant, whose uptake by plants produces toxic effects. The use of As-contaminated groundwater for irrigation can affect the crop productivity. Realizing the importance of the Brassica juncea as a crop plant in terms of oil-yield, there is a need to unravel mechanistic details of response to As stress and identify key functional genes and...
